VACANCY NOTICE
JOB TITLE: Wrestling Coach SCHOOL: McHenry Middle School REPORTS TO: Building Principal TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Temporary START DATE: December 7, 2026 – March 15, 2027
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop student athletes by teaching fundamental skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting good sportsmanship.
- Teach fundamental wrestling rules, strategies, and techniques.
- Plan and execute practices.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and safe team environment.
- Previous coaching or competitive playing experience preferred.
PAY AND BENEFITS
- $3,900 Stipend for wrestling season
