Now Hiring: Full-Time Overnight Security Officer – Join the Award-Winning Team at The Gatesworth! Are you a dependable and customer-focused professional with experience in security? The Gatesworth, St. Louis’ premier resort-style independent senior living community, is seeking a Full-Time Overnight Security Officer to help ensure the safety and peace of mind of our residents, guests, and staff. Schedule:
- Overnight shift: Full-time, Friday through Tuesday (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
Pay: $20.00/hour
What You'll Do:
- Perform routine security rounds throughout the building and campus.
- Monitor entrances and greet all residents, employees, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and security alerts.
- Operate access control systems, alarm panels, surveillance systems, and other security equipment.
- Manage package deliveries and track incoming items during overnight shifts.
- Maintain a calm and reassuring presence during all interactions.
Qualifications:
- St. Louis County Security License (must be willing to obtain upon hire)
- 2+ years of security experience.
- 2+ years of customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
