General Laborer (Temporary)

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Load, unload, sort, and move raw materials, parts, and equipment using hand trucks, dollies, or pallet jacks.
• Site Upkeep: Clean and prepare work areas, sweep debris, remove waste, and dispose of scrap or hazardous materials safely.
• Operational Support: Assist machine operators, technicians, and skilled tradespeople by gathering tools, holding materials, or staging production lines.

Requirements

Physical Requirements

Employees in this position must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, reach, push, pull, and climb.
• Regularly lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, using appropriate assistance or material-handling equipment for heavier loads.
• Perform repetitive physical activities throughout the workday.
• Work on uneven surfaces and around active construction operations.
• Safely climb ladders and access elevated work areas when properly trained and authorized.
• Wear required PPE for extended periods.
• Perform work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.

Work Environment

Work is primarily performed at active construction sites. Employees may be exposed to heat, cold, rain, wind, dust, dirt, mud, noise, vibration, moving vehicles and equipment, construction materials, and other conditions normally associated with construction operations.
