The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys solving complex problems, helping others succeed, and taking ownership of initiatives from concept through implementation. You are equally comfortable collaborating across teams and independently driving projects to completion.

At eviCore, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our engineering productivity, platform reliability, and customer experience. You'll help shape and enhance our DevOps and SecOps practices while accelerating the adoption of automation, cloud technologies, security, operational excellence, and AI adoption.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will interact with various functional groups such as Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, Security, Product Owners, Client Service, and Operations to ensure our products are built, released, and deployed efficiently.

You will continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, increase automation, enhance security, improve reliability, and accelerate delivery while helping teams adopt modern engineering practices.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

Drive day-to-day DevOps activities including intake management, prioritization, planning, and delivery.
Work across Development, Infrastructure, Security, Cloud Governance, and Operations teams to support ongoing initiatives and new product development.
Review and enhance security practices related to source control, access management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments.
Manage and administer tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, Nexus, Grafana, LENS, and Dynatrace.
Create, manage, and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes deployment, configuration, performance, and operational issues.
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, availability, and security of Azure cloud resources.
Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
Design and enhance our Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) frameworks.
Collaborate with cloud architects and engineering teams to develop highly available, scalable, and disaster recovery capable solutions.
Improve observability through monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance tuning practices.
Research new technologies, tools, and processes for possible adoption to improve DevOps, SecOps, and platform engineering capabilities.
Enhance CI/CD standards, templates, and onboarding processes to accelerate project delivery.
Evaluate and implement AI-assisted engineering solutions that improve developer productivity, automation, operational efficiency, and incident response.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, governance, compliance, and operational standards.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Infrastructure Engineering, or DevSecOps roles.
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

3+ years of experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
3+ years of experience with deployment methodologies such as Blue/Green, Canary, Rolling Deployments, and Deployment Slots.
3+ years of experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, identity management, and access controls.
Experience troubleshooting complex distributed applications and cloud infrastructure.
Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives, driving engineering best practices, and influencing technical decisions across teams.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with GitLab and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
3+ years of Linux system administration and networking experience.

Experience with container security, software supply chain security, and vulnerability management.
Experience leveraging Generative AI and AI-assisted engineering tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, or similar technologies to improve software delivery, automation, and operational efficiency.
