Factory Assistant - Forming

We are a well established, commercial flexible packaging manufacturer seeking a motivated Full-Time Manufacturing Production Assistant in our Forming Department. Starting at the end of the line, forming associates are the final step before finished products go to the customer. These associates must keep alert to any problems or defects in the product and notify manager promptly, while also packaging finished product neatly and accurately. Forming employees must be able to maintain focus and attention to detail while working in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Schedule

• Typically 45 hours per week
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Occasional Saturdays as needed
• Time and a half pay for all hours worked over 40 per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential production support by assisting operators with machine setup, startup, and material loading.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety through routine cleaning.
• Monitor production flow and learn technical troubleshooting skills.
• Work closely with experienced operators and production personnel to develop technical manufacturing skills.

What We Are Looking For:

• Positive Attitude, Reliable and Strong Work Ethic
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn technical skills
• Attention to detail with good eyesight with ability to distinguish colors and fine details
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform manual tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Spanish/English Bilingual helpful, but not required
