Machine Operator/Production Worker

Have some production or warehouse experience and want to learn real machine skills? Our client is hiring a Food Production Machine Operator at $24.00 per hour in Woodinville. You'll work for a company that has made gourmet sea salts for more than 20 years, with a clean, food-safe facility and a team that genuinely celebrates its people.

As a Food Production Machine Operator, you'll run color sorting machines that clean and sort salt and keep product moving out the door. It's steady, active work with full training, the day goes by quickly, and forklift experience is a big plus. As a Food Production Machine Operator you will:

• Run four optical sorting machines that clean white, pink, smoked, and wet salts, making simple timing and color adjustments on a touchscreen
• Fill, weigh, and label large salt totes, and check finished product quality before it moves on
• Move finished pallets to the finished goods or work-in-progress area using a forklift or electric pallet jack
• Set up, clean, and break down equipment at the start and end of your shift
• Keep your work area clean and organized and follow food safety rules

Your schedule

• Training: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
• After training: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
• Saturdays as needed

Pay: $24.00 per hour

To succeed as a Food Production Machine Operator you need:

• At least 6 months of hands-on production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience
• Comfort using a computer touchscreen. We will train you on the sorting machines
• Ability to lift 35 to 40 lbs throughout the shift. You will be on your feet most of the day, climbing stairs and bending as you work
• Flexibility to move to the 9:00am to 5:30pm shift after training and work some Saturdays
