Experience with Optical LAN/PON technologies is strongly preferred; however, candidates with strong enterprise networking, fiber infrastructure, and network architecture backgrounds will also be considered. The position may support government or other restricted projects. Candidates must be eligible and able to obtain and maintain required customer, site, or government security clearances and access credentials.

- Present solution architectures, design alternatives, assumptions, and technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support RFP/RFQ responses, proposals, statements of work, equipment selection, solution costing, and pricing
- Design fiber and structured cabling infrastructure, telecommunications spaces, pathways, and related network infrastructure in accordance with applicable BICSI, TIA, NEC, and local requirements
- Conduct site surveys, interpret construction and engineering drawings, and coordinate requirements with architects, consultants, contractors, and customer IT organizations
