Patient Registration Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Patient Registration Representative to support patient registration and front-office operations. This position serves as a key point of contact for patients and visitors and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Register patients and accurately enter demographic and personal information into the system.
• Verify patient and visitor identity by collecting required information and reviewing photo identification.
• Verify insurance coverage and ensure accurate insurance information is documented.
• Determine whether patients will pay applicable out-of-pocket fees or require financial assistance.
• Explain required consent forms and assist patients with completing admissions and registration paperwork.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions or direct calls appropriately.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling patient information.
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient and visitor needs.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth front-office and patient registration operations.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
