EL Paso, TEXAS Data Center Cabling Technician I Now Hiring: Data Center Cabling TechniciansJoin a long-term data center construction project supporting the buildout of critical infrastructure. We're seeking hardworking, dependable individuals who are comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor construction environments and are eager to grow their careers in the data center industry.Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Pull and route copper and fiber optic cable throughout data center environments.
• Assist experienced technicians with installation and project activities.
• Transport, organize, and stage materials throughout the job site.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Climb ladders and work at varying heights.
• Install wireway, bus duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles, and related infrastructure components.
• Build telecommunications closets, including mounting backboards, racks, patch panels, cross-connects, and fiber hardware.
• Install grounding systems for racks, equipment, and cabling.
• Complete terminations and punch-downs, including 110 and 66 blocks and patch panels.
• Assist with conduit installation and cable pulling activities.
• Follow project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Required Skills

• Cable pulling and installation
• Punch-down and termination experience
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Construction or low-voltage cabling experience
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a construction environment.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish colors, read small print, and recognize audible signals.
• Willingness to travel within the local or regional territory as needed.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.

Compensation:Hourly pay + per diemWe're looking for individuals who are motivated, dependable, safety-focused, and interested in building a long-term career in the data center and structured cabling industry.
