About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Direct Consumer Loan Processor to support a high-volume consumer lending team. This role is responsible for preparing loan documents, reviewing completed loan packages, funding and disbursing consumer loans, and providing support to internal lending teams and members.The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in banking or credit unions, strong attention to detail, and experience working with consumer loan applications and documentation. Experience with Symitar and/or MeridianLink is highly preferred.Key Responsibilities

• Manage a daily consumer loan processing queue and meet established service-level expectations.
• Prepare accurate loan disclosures and documentation for consumer loan products.
• Review completed loan documents to ensure all required signatures and initials have been obtained.
• Fund consumer loans accurately and ensure proper disbursement of loan proceeds.
• Perform pre-funding audits to verify loan accuracy and completeness.
• Assist lending specialists with tasks required to complete and process loan applications.
• Monitor pending loan packets and communicate delays or missing documentation.
• Provide phone support to internal teams and members regarding loan products and processes.
• Assist with loan servicing requests and processing-related questions.
• Troubleshoot loan origination system input errors.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while working in a high-volume environment of approximately 300500 loan applications per month.
• Meet individual and team goals related to production, quality, and service.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of banking or credit union experience
• Experience processing consumer loans and loan applications
• Knowledge of loan documentation, funding, and disbursement processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer/member service skills
• Comfortable communicating by phone with members and internal staff
• Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365

• Salesforce
• Electronic signature platforms
• Loan origination systems (LOS)
• Consumer loan funding and disbursement

Work Environment This is a 100% remote position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM PST. Youll work closely with an experienced consumer lending team, with most day-to-day communication taking place through video conferencing and phone systems.Why This Opportunity?
