We are hiring Entry-Level Low Voltage Cable Technicians to support data center construction projects in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals coming from construction, warehouse, landscaping, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, manufacturing, military, telecom, or other labor-intensive backgrounds who want to break into the technology industry.You'll work alongside experienced technicians installing the cabling infrastructure that powers some of the world's largest data centers. No previous data center experience is required. We provide training for motivated individuals who are eager to learn, work hard, and build a long-term career. What You'll Do

• Install, route, dress, and secure copper and fiber optic cabling throughout large-scale data center environments.
• Pull cables through overhead pathways, cable trays, underfloor systems, and designated routing areas.
• Label, test, and document cable installations according to project specifications and quality standards.
• Assist with equipment rack installations, hardware mounting, and structured cabling activities.
• Read and follow basic work orders, installation drawings, and project plans.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, and material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain organized work areas while adhering to strict data center cleanliness standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve installation milestones and project deadlines.
• Identify and report installation issues, damaged materials, or safety concerns.
• Participate in ongoing training focused on low voltage systems, structured cabling, and data center infrastructure.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
