Job Description
Production Services Lead – Hadoop Location: Plano, TX Duration: 6 Months Mode of Hire: W2 contract
Required Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/Science/Math
- 5+ years of IT experience
- Production Support Experience
- Technical and functional knowledge of Hadoop Ecosystem
- SQL Knowledge (Impala/HiveQL/Teradata)
- Experience in MapReduce, Sqoop, Flume and Kafka
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to effectively manage in a cross-matrix environment with Global resources
- Must be able to provide on call after hours support
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication techniques – written and verbal.
- Ability to monitor and effectively manage job production problems and drive process and system improvements to enhance efficiency
- Tools: MS Office, Visio
