Support optical alignment, precision assembly, fiber optic integration, and final system testing activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and cycle-time improvements. Identify and implement tooling, fixture, automation, and process improvements that enhance manufacturing performance. Monitor scrap, rework, and material usage while implementing corrective actions to achieve operational goals. Support new product introductions (NPI), process validations, and manufacturing transfers. Conduct regular meetings with production associates to communicate business objectives, performance expectations, and operational updates. What should your background look like: Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Optics, Photonics, Electronics, or a related technical discipline preferred. 2+ years of manufacturing experience with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
