Summary We are seeking an experienced Localization Project Manager to oversee the localization of new user interface features across digital media, commerce, and payment products. This role is responsible for coordinating localization projects across multiple platforms and delivering high-quality localized experiences to customers worldwide in up to 50 languages simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of linguistic, technical, and project management skills to collaborate with engineering, editorial, vendor, and quality assurance teams. This individual will manage project deliverables, develop localization strategies, and leverage AI tools and automation to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and minimize rework.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the localization of new user interface features across multiple platforms, including mobile, desktop, television, wearable devices, and web.
  • Coordinate localization projects across up to 50 languages simultaneously, managing large volumes of content and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Partner with engineering, editorial, vendor, and QA teams to align on project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed localization requirement documents, project schedules, workflow plans, and status reports across key project phases.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and blockers, and proactively communicate issues to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support localization quality assurance and ensure localized features meet quality standards and release requirements.
  • Leverage AI tools, prompt engineering, and workflow automation to streamline project management tasks, automate validation, and improve localization processes.
  • Represent the localization function in cross-functional discussions, ensuring linguistic and technical requirements are clearly understood and addressed.
  • Manage competing priorities independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.

What You Bring

  • Solid technical understanding of software release cycles, internationalization standards, and localization quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with localization content management systems (CMS), computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, machine translation (MT), machine learning (ML) tools, and bug-tracking systems.
  • Proven project management experience coordinating localization across multiple languages and handling large volumes of data.
  • Experience using AI tools and prompt engineering to optimize workflows, automate validation, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ability to create detailed project documentation, manage schedules, track deliverables, and report on project status.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience coordinating across technical and nontechnical teams.
  • Ability to identify critical deliverables, prioritize competing needs, and promptly escalate blockers to relevant stakeholders.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience working across mobile, desktop, television, wearable device, and web platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital media products, e-commerce platforms, digital wallets, or cloud-based services.
  • Background in software localization, internationalization, or globalization operations.
  • Experience with structured prompting, iterative prompt refinement, and AI workflow orchestration.
  • Experience supporting international e-commerce or media marketplaces.
  • Native-level fluency in one or more languages in addition to English.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in localization, project management, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
