Original job description
The inbound department unloads the trees that are shipped to us, sizes and tags those trees, and puts away those trees on pad locations throughout the nursery. Trees are delivered in a few different ways, stacked, on carts or shelves, and in boxes.
In addition to trees, inbound also unloads all hardgoods for the warehouse, machinery and other products for maintenance, and items that are shipped in for nursery usage such as soil and chemicals. Those items are unloaded and handed off to their respective departments.
