Mechanical Engineer/Mechanical Draftsman Position available immediately
Task Manufacturing, a job shop specialized in Design, Fabrication and Machining, is seeking a Full- Time Mechanical Draftsman or Mechanical Engineer.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE - 4 days standard work week. Overtime on Fridays when needed.
This position is responsible for producing mechanical designs for automation and material handling equipment, within a given timeframe that meets the customers specifications using creativity and innovation.
Mechanical Design and Engineering Functions:
Handles all aspects of design engineering work
Provides production support to the machining and assembly areas
Performs prototyping activities of new product development
Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
Reviews product design for compliance and engineering principles, company standards and customers requirements
Work with vendors, customers and employees on a professional level
Determines problem analysis and problem resolution
Troubleshoots to solve problems related to assigned projects
Directly communicates with clients in the form of meetings and presentations to understand and define their needs.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
ME Education, Drafting Education or experience in this field is required.
Experience in manufacturing environment with machining, fabrication and mechanical assembly preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Displays moderate skill level in Solidworks, Oshape or Creo
Demonstrates computer literacy with MS- Excel, and MS - Outlook
Displays great leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Displays great attention to detail
Shows organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to solve practical problems
