ASSISTANT MANAGER

Summary Assists the Store Manager with daily store operations, employee supervision, customer service, inventory, cash handling, scheduling, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Duties

• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer concerns.
• Supervise employees in sales, inventory, cash handling, and service tasks.
• Train, coach, evaluate, and document employee performance as needed.
• Support sales, merchandising, pricing, display, and inventory control.
• Enforce safety, security, health, and sanitation standards.
• Oversee cash handling and cashier procedures.
• Communicate with managers and employees to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and other management duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Some college preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of retail, supermarket, or liquor industry experience.
• Prior management experience required.
• Strong customer service, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
