Job Description

Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 4 days onsite/week) Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas, including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens). We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B). We are seeking an experienced Murex Front Office Consultant with hands-on experience working with Murex FLEX to support an existing project focused on expanding Exotic Rates product capabilities and integrating proprietary pricing models into the Murex platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between Quantitative Analysts, Front Office stakeholders, and C++ developers who are responsible for the trading application. The role will involve configuring and enhancing exotic Rates products, translating quantitative pricing requirements into functional and technical specifications, and leveraging Murex FLEX to facilitate the integration of proprietary pricing models. Candidates must have practical experience with Murex FLEX and a strong understanding of Murex Front Office functionality, exotic Rates products and pricing model integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, enhance and support Murex Front Office functionality for exotic Rates products, including Bermudan options, callable and zero-coupon callable structures, range of accruals and digital options.
  • Work closely with Quantitative Analysts to understand proprietary pricing models, identify required model inputs and outputs, and define pricing and integration requirements.
  • Leverage Murex FLEX to design, configure, and support the integration of proprietary pricing models into the Murex Front Office environment.
  • Define data exchanges, interfaces and integration specifications between Murex and external pricing models, taking into account FLEX capabilities and Murex platform constraints.
  • Translate business, product, and quantitative requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for C++ development teams.
  • Collaborate with C++ developers to ensure pricing models are correctly integrated and aligned with Murex product configuration and expected pricing behavior.
  • Coordinate end-to-end integration testing, pricing validation, troubleshooting and resolution of functional and technical issues.
  • Work with Front Office stakeholders and Quantitative Analysts to validate pricing results and ensure the implemented solutions meet business and quantitative expectations.
  • Provide occasional production support and participate in on-call activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Quantitative Finance or a related discipline.
  • Strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting Murex Front Office
  • Proven ability to work with Quantitative Analysts to understand pricing models and translate quantitative requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Experience using Murex FLEX for external pricing model integration, including defining model interfaces, data exchanges and integration specifications.
  • Experience working with C++ development teams to coordinate the implementation and integration of proprietary pricing models.
  • General understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, APIs and software integration principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Front Office, Quantitative Research and Technology teams.
