Company Overview:

At Tactacam, we are a rapidly growing team of tech innovators, trail-blazers, and outdoor enthusiasts working to engineer the outdoors! We are proud to be a market-leading outdoor camera and technology company, but at our core, we are just a group of people obsessed with the great outdoors. We are far more than a technology company; we are a community that values fresh air as much as fresh ideas. As restless adventurers, we know that the best ideas rarely happen behind a desk, which is why we constantly encourage our team to get outside, use our products, and let the natural world inspire their next big breakthrough.

We also operate as tech trailblazers who are moving fast. With over 500,000+ active customers worldwide and a constantly expanding product line, we are actively pushing the boundaries of what outdoor technology can do. Because "good enough" isn't in our vocabulary, we intentionally foster an environment of ambitious dreamers where every team member is encouraged to aim higher, dream bigger, and drive innovation forward. We believe that your career should be an adventure too, and our rapid growth offers limitless possibilities for career advancement, personal development, and hands-on impact

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Studio Content Producer with a deep understanding of videography, photography, and the technical aspects of content creation in the outdoor industries. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with hands-on experience in producing high-quality visual content, capable of conducting interviews, and capturing content that supports our brand narratives. This role will be based in our Billings, Montana headquarters, focusing entirely on in-house studio production, set design, product spotlights, and controlled-environment shooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop, shoot, and edit high-quality video and photo content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns, with a primary focus on in-studio product features, lifestyle set builds, and brand messaging.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced knowledge of camera equipment, studio lighting arrays, and controlled audio recording to ensure exceptional production quality.
  • Interviewing Skills: Conduct in-house or remote interviews with customers, influencers, and industry experts to gather authentic stories and insights that enhance content narratives.
  • Pre-Production Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm concepts, develop storyboards, and outline shooting schedules for studio projects.
  • Studio Management & Set Design: Design, build, and maintain studio sets, ensuring the in-house production environment is optimized, organized, and adaptable to diverse product categories.
  • Post-Production: Produce foundational timelines for post-production by editing raw footage and images.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and troubleshoot studio video and photography equipment, ensuring everything is ready for use before each shoot.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a content production role, preferably within the outdoor, hunting, or adventure industries, with specialized experience in studio environments, product photography, and controlled lighting.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of DSLR and mirrorless camera systems and proficient in Adobe’s video and photo editing software.
  • Interviewing Experience: Proven ability to conduct engaging interviews that elicit meaningful responses and insights.
  • Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing previous work in videography and photography, particularly related to outdoor or hunting content, demonstrating strong capabilities in studio lighting, product videography, and set design.
  • Hunting Knowledge: Understanding of hunting practices, equipment, and culture to effectively capture and convey authentic narratives, but with the ability to produce compelling work in our other product categories as well.

Desired Attributes:

  • Creative Mindset: Ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts that engage audiences and promote the lifestyle.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in both visual aesthetics and technical execution.
  • Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-Motivated: Strong work ethic and ability to manage time effectively while working independently within the studio environment.
