Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Job Summary:

System One is seeking a Software QA/SDET for a long-term opportunity in the nuclear technology and energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and quality assurance procedures for applications supporting the assigned team's initiative.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Validate fixes prior to release.
• Develop tools and procedures to implement testing and automated testing in the organization.
• Select and implement testing tools in the environment.
• Help build the software QA/testing discipline within the company as the organization moves forward.

Requirements

• Direct experience in nuclear or utility operations, including familiarity with NERC and FERC regulatory requirements.
• Experience within other regulated utility, energy, or heavy-industrial environments.
• Experience in manual and/or automated software QA testing.
• Familiarity with defect-tracking tools and, where applicable, automated test frameworks/scripting.
• Experience developing tools and procedures to implement testing and automated testing.
• Experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing testing tools.
• Ability to help build and grow a testing discipline within an organization.
• Experience with Maximo
