Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: South Salt Lake, Utah

Type: Contract

Compensation: $19 / hr.

Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

Responsibilities:

• This person would mostly handle forklift duties, loading and unloading box trucks, unloading bulk trailers, and performing housekeeping duties
• Ensure safe forklift operation and compliance with company safety standards.
• Help maintain productivity and operational continuity during employee absences and leave coverage.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements:

• Prior forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Sit-down forklift experience required; forklift certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and warehouse operations.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
