Position Overview:

Competently performs routine and specialized cardiac catheterization procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment, and uses clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or teaching duties.

EDUCATION:

Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support if caring for pediatric patients

When working in Cardiovascular Technology:

• ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologists
• OR CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
• OR RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy if required by entity
• OR RCIS-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• OR CVT-Certified Vascular Technologist
• OR CCT-Certified Cardiographic Technician
• OR RVT-Registered Vascular Technologist
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• SMCS: ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Pay Range is $71.31 to $99.83 / hour The posted pay range is based on the position's primary work location. Candidates who reside and work outside of that location may be subject to a different pay range based on their work location.
