Machine Setup Operator

Machine Setup Operator Shift: 1st Shift Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Machine Setup Operator to support manufacturing operations and production changeovers. This position is responsible for preparing, adjusting, and setting up production equipment to ensure smooth transitions between production runs. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining production efficiency, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups and production changeovers between different products or production runs.
• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and equipment components as needed.
• Remove, install, and replace machine parts and production components.
• Prepare equipment and materials for scheduled production runs.
• Perform test runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential mechanical or operational issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow established safety procedures, setup instructions, and production standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting as required.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn equipment, production processes, and setup procedures.
