Blast Line Operator

Blast Line Operator Pay: $16.00–$17.00 per hour to start Location: Youngstown, OH Job Type: Full-Time Experience: Entry-Level – Training Provided Job Summary We are hiring a dependable and hardworking Blast Line Operator to join a manufacturing team in Youngstown, OH! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get started in manufacturing, as no previous experience is required and training will be provided. In this hands-on position, you will help move steel plates through the blasting process, monitor automated machinery and robotic equipment, and assist with maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the blast line and move steel plates through the blasting process.
• Run and monitor vibrating tables and related production equipment.
• Monitor machinery and robotic systems for defects or malfunctions.
• Make basic machine adjustments to maintain production quality.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads.
• Perform basic equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Report equipment issues or abnormal operating conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Qualifications

• Reliable with a strong work ethic and good attendance.
• Willingness to learn new manufacturing skills and processes.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.
• Strong awareness of workplace safety.
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and equipment.
