Support speech-language needs through teletherapy for students within a school setting located in Stafford, VA. This contract role provides vital coverage for a current speech-language pathologist on leave, ensuring continuity of care for students requiring speech support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver teletherapy services to students, focusing on high-need cases within the caseload.
• Manage a caseload of students, ideally providing full coverage but prioritizing two students with urgent needs.
• Collaborate remotely with school staff to coordinate therapy goals and progress.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
• Adhere to all relevant policies and confidentiality regulations regarding student information.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required.
• Experience in telepractice/teletherapy in educational settings preferred.
• Ability to work approximately 37.5 hours per week; part-time may be considered.
• Skilled in managing caseloads that include children with diverse speech and language needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel.

Location: Stafford, Virginia

Duration: Approximately November 12th through January 4th, covering leave for an existing SLP contractor.
