Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Simi Valley, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse speech and language needs
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
• Maintain accurate records of progress notes, therapy logs, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as an engaged member of the multidisciplinary team
• Support students ranging from preschool to high school, adapting therapy to different age groups and abilities
