Make a meaningful difference in students lives through a unique HYBRID opportunity supporting learners in a school setting. This contract role calls for a licensed, ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with assistive technology (AT) experience to provide targeted support for a high school student using an Accent eye gaze device. Youll split your time between hands-on, direct services at the school (just 2 hours weekly onsite) and virtual/administrative tasks, allowing for a flexible schedule that accommodates your expertise.

What Youll Bring:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) credentials
  • Active Texas SLP license (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
  • Experience with assistive technology, specifically eye gaze with an Accent device (programming, calibration, maintenance)
  • Comfortable supporting both students and educational teams in-person and virtually
  • Familiarity with private school evaluation referrals, paperwork collection, and parent intake
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
  • References available upon request

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct AT services onsite weekly to one high-support student, collaborating with school teams for device maintenance and programming
  • Conduct evaluations for private school referrals (virtual/remote & administrative)
  • Liaise with parents: intake information, gather referrals, support paperwork completion, and guide next steps
  • Maintain organized records of caseload, paperwork, and follow-up actions
  • Monitor progress and remain accessible for ongoing communication with families and school staff

This contract runs through May 26, 2027, offering significant autonomy to manage your time (20 hours/week) while creating lasting impact. The hybrid structure blends meaningful student interaction with the convenience of remote workflow and administrative flexibility.

Picture yourself making a true difference in one students educational journey while shaping effective AT services. If youre ready for a role that values your specialized SLP and AT expertise, apply today to embark on this fulfilling hybrid assignment!
