Your primary focus will be providing speech and language services to a diverse caseload of pediatric students in a school-based environment. Youll be a key part of a multidisciplinary team, working together to help children reach communication milestones and develop lifelong skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina SLP license
- South Carolina Teaching Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, and healthcare speech-language pathology settings preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate closely with school staff, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation aligned with district and state requirements
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and IEP conferences as required
- Adapt intervention strategies to meet diverse student needs and schedules
