Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fremont, CA

This contract position for the 2026/2027 academic year offers full-time hours from 8am3pm, supporting both early learners (PreK2nd grade) and upper elementary students (3rd5th grade) across two sites. With an SLP set to take a leave of absence, your expertise will be vital in ensuring students continue to receive essential speech and language services throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active California SLP License
• Valid CA Educator Certification
• SLP-CCC or background as a School-based SLP or SLPA
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to supporting students speech and language development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to optimize student outcomes
• Consult with educational team members to support student success
• Support both preK-2nd and 3rd-5th grade caseloads across two school sites
