School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Manassas, Virginia

Youll work within a vibrant district, collaborating with educators and students across multiple elementary school locations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Speech-Language, or a related field
• Previous experience in school-based speech and language support preferred
• No SLPA license required for Virginia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a collaborative, multi-site setting
• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to certified speech-language pathologists in the delivery of speech and language services to students
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and support progress monitoring
• Assist in implementing therapy plans under the supervision of a certified SLP
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to foster student success
• Flexibly travel between designated elementary school campuses as needed

Role Details:

• Contract runs from start date through June 11th, 2027
• Full-time schedule: 35 hours per week, 7 hours daily
• Assignment based at two elementary schools
