School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Sunnyvale, CA

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid SLPA licensure (California)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Solid understanding of speech-language therapy techniques
• Ability to implement therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
• Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy activities as designed by supervising SLPs, adapting to individual student needs
• Assist in conducting screenings and assessments to support the SLPs evaluations
• Provide both individual and small group interventions in accordance with students therapy plans
• Document students progress, collect data, and contribute insights for IEP meetings
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support student goals
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with school protocols and ethical standards
