School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Burleson, Texas

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant! This full-time role offers up to 37.5 hours per week for the academic year, working on-site at a local school in the Burleson, TX area. Youll collaborate with a dedicated team to provide speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 60-65 students at a single campus. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference for students from diverse backgrounds as you help them achieve their communication goals.

What were looking for:

• Active Texas SLPA licensure (candidates must have fully completed clinical hours; this is required for consideration)
• Previous experience or relevant coursework working in K-12 school settings
• Comfort supporting a diverse student population; experience in schools preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) skills strongly preferred, though not required
• Commitment to complete or provide up-to-date fingerprints through TEA (Texas Education Agency)
• Professional, flexible, and collaborative approach

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Support IEP implementation and documentation for students on your caseload
• Communicate progress and collaborate regularly with supervising SLP, educational staff, and families
• Maintain records in compliance with state and district requirements
• Work effectively on-site following the assigned school schedule
