Essential Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• State licensure or eligibility for school social work credential
• Previous experience as a Social Worker in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong understanding of mental health, child development, and crisis intervention
• Excellent communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, or behavioral needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Deliver group and one-on-one counseling to students
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to design and monitor support strategies
• Coordinate with community agencies and resources to extend services to students and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on behavioral and emotional goals
• Lead or support prevention programs addressing issues such as bullying, conflict resolution, and mental health awareness
