School-Based Physical Therapist - Chicopee, MA

Make a positive impact on students growth and development by providing school-based physical therapy services for a specialized program serving high schoolers in West Springfield, MA. This contract opportunity is ideal for a PT with expertise supporting students in academic environments and a strong background in assistive technology.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active Physical Therapist licensure in Massachusetts
• Previous experience as a school-based PT, particularly in high school settings
• Expertise working with assistive technology to help students access the curriculum
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, students, and families
• Availability to fulfill a 6-hour per week, contract schedule (can be completed in one day)

Primary Duties:

• Deliver therapeutic physical therapy interventions to students in the Compass Program at a local high school
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and track progress
• Support students with diverse needs to reach educational and mobility goals
• Use assistive tech to enhance students classroom participation and functional mobility
• Partner with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers for integrated support

Position Details:

• Contract role, running through June 21, 2027
• Flexiblecomplete required hours in a single day if preferred
