School-Based Physical Therapist - Berkeley, California

We're seeking two skilled Physical Therapists to work onsite in a dynamic school setting, supporting students across two campuses. With both full-time and part-time roles available, you'll play a vital role from now through late May 2027, making a tangible difference in students educational journeys near Berkeley, CA.

Your expertise will be essential in helping young learners access their education with confidence and independence. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate seamlessly with OTs, SLPs, educators, administrators, and families.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active CA Physical Therapy license
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy
• Strong skills in collaboration and communication
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans, IEP goals, and progress reports
• Familiarity with assessing and recommending adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students gross motor skills, mobility, balance, strength, and functional abilities
• Design and implement customized therapy and intervention plans
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to meet each students needs
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to team-based planning and progress discussions
• Track and maintain clear, accurate documentation of services rendered
• Work closely with the school team and families to support optimal student outcomes
