Registered Behavior Technician - Meriden, CT

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required
• Previous experience working in a school setting or with children/adolescents is highly valued
• Skilled at implementing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strategies and behavior intervention plans
• Comfortable managing challenging behaviors, including aggression, while maintaining safety and professionalism
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and therapy teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct ABA therapy and behavioral support to individual students as outlined in their intervention plans
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress and behavior
• Collaborate with teachers, supervisors, and related service providers to modify interventions as needed
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and proactive strategies to support positive behavior change
• Provide input during IEP meetings and team consultations as appropriate
• Maintain the confidentiality of student information at all times
