PET/CT Technologist | Boca Raton, Florida

Step into a specialized imaging role dedicated to delivering high-quality PET/CT services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position is ideal for an experienced technologist passionate about advanced diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts weekly
• Tuesdays: Assigned at one location
• Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: Assigned at additional locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PET/CT scans safely and effectively, ensuring optimal image quality for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare and position patients thoughtfully, providing clear instructions and support throughout the procedure
• Operate imaging equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and adhere to strict protocols for patient safety
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure precise and accurate imaging results
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of procedures and patient interactions
• Comply with all regulatory guidelines regarding radiation safety and patient confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a PET/CT Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET/CT experience
• Current registries/licensure as required for imaging technologists
• Strong knowledge of imaging safety standards and PET/CT modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focused on providing compassionate patient care
• Ability to adapt efficiently within a multi-site schedule and contribute to a team-based environment

$3,999 - $4,216/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
