Occupational Therapist School Setting in Plainfield, IL

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Occupational Therapy license in Illinois (IL OT license required)
• Background or experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Experience or interest in home health, healthcare, and teletherapy settings
• Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized therapy plans for K-12 students
• Provide direct therapy sessions both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
• Document student progress, maintain detailed records, and communicate updates with the educational team and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Support students development of functional life skills, motor skills, and adaptive behaviors
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of your caseload
