Instructional Assistant - Daly City, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or supporting students in an educational setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support to teachers, assisting with instruction, classroom management, and student engagement
• Offer one-on-one or small group academic assistance to students who need additional support
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under supervision
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of learning materials, and maintaining a safe environment
• Monitor student behavior, reinforcing positive conduct and redirecting as needed
• Facilitate the inclusion of all students by adapting activities to varying skill levels
• Support students with special needs, ensuring their comfort and participation throughout the school day
