Instructional Assistant - Camarillo, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in educational settings preferred
• Confidence working with both moderate/severe and mild/moderate student populations
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and other paraprofessionals
• Compassion, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
• Must possess or be eligible for a California School Psychologist license

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group assistance to students in academic and social settings
• Implement classroom routines and behavioral strategies under the direction of licensed staff
• Support teacher-led instruction across a variety of subjects and student needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all learners
• Accurately document student progress and behavior as directed
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care for students as needed
