Classroom Assistant | Minneapolis, Minnesota

This contract-based position focuses on offering afternoon assistance to a student one-on-one, running from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM daily in a .3 FTE role. There is also the exciting possibility of expanding your hours and moving into a full-time assignment, as additional morning and float paraprofessional needs across various sites are being explored.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience supporting students in a one-on-one setting
• Proficient in providing behavior and classroom support

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with an assigned student throughout afternoon sessions, ensuring their academic and behavioral needs are met
• Collaborate with teaching staff and administration to implement individual learning and behavioral plans
• Support classroom activities and help maintain a structured, supportive environment
• Adjust approaches as needed to accommodate the unique goals and needs of the student
• Document relevant observations and communicate progress regularly
