Instructional Aide - Clarks Summit, PA

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated professional for a full-time, contract opportunity as a 1:1 Paraprofessional. This position offers the chance to make a direct impact on a students day-to-day experience, all while working alongside a supportive school team in a vibrant learning environment.

This full-time assignment runs from now through June 16, 2027, with hours scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:15AM-3:15PM. Youll provide individualized assistance, helping learners achieve their fullest potential throughout the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a school-based paraprofessional
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain and complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Reliable transportation for onsite attendance
• Comfort supporting students with special needs, including those requiring toileting and diapering assistance
• Willingness to engage with students one-on-one in a classroom setting
• Professional, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for helping others
• Comfortable with a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process

Key Responsibilities:

• Working 1:1 with a student to provide academic, social, behavioral, and personal care support
• Supporting classroom teachers and other staff in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assisting students with daily routines and activities, including toileting and diapering as needed
• Fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicating student needs or changes with the educational team
