School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lapeer, MI Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based opportunity in Lapeer, Michigan, for the remainder of the 20262027 school year. This is a great opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about working with young children and helping them develop essential speech, language, and communication skills in an early childhood educational setting. • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool and early childhood students with diverse communication needs.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and screenings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, evaluations, and student outcomes.
• Support the development of early communication, language, articulation, and social interaction skills.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required.**
• Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood populations preferred.
• School-based speech therapy experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with young children and multidisciplinary educational teams.
• Must be available to work on-site in Lapeer, MI.
