Key Qualifications:

• Current credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter
• EIPA score of 4.0 preferred (candidates with a lower EIPA will still be considered)
• Experience in educational settings, especially with middle school students, is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to varying communication needs and learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Interpret classroom instruction and school activities for students requiring sign language support
• Ensure clear, accurate communication between students, teachers, and staff
• Support students in both academic and extracurricular settings
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Opportunity to take on extra hours for after-school meetings or events if interested (not required)
