CT Tech MRI Technologist | Hesperus, Colorado

An opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging professional skilled in both MRI and CT technologies. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a dynamic clinical environment and are committed to delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services. The role involves a contract engagement supporting an advanced imaging department.

Schedule:

• 4x10 hour day shifts

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Registered as an MRI Technologist and CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Solid working knowledge of MRI and CT procedures, protocols, and safety measures
• Previous experience operating imaging equipment in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care and effective communication with patients and medical staff
• Detail-oriented, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Current BLS certification
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and MRI imaging procedures according to provider orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout examinations
• Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment, performing quality control checks as needed
• Accurately document imaging procedures and findings in the patients medical record
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure optimal image quality and assist with advanced imaging protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, complying with infection control and safety policies
• Support patient education by explaining procedures and addressing questions professionally
