CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist - Georgetown, TX

An opportunity is available for a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to play a crucial role in a busy imaging environment. This contract position offers the chance to provide high-quality diagnostic services and support patient care alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour night shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating both CT and X-ray imaging equipment in a clinical setting
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Strong knowledge of current imaging protocols and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing workflows
• Excellent communication skills and a committed, patient-focused attitude
• Current BLS certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized CT and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients and explain procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process
• Accurately position patients for optimal imaging results and operate equipment according to established protocols
• Monitor imaging quality, troubleshoot issues, and initiate corrective action as needed
• Maintain accurate records of patient exams, documenting all relevant information in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Adhere to infection prevention, radiation safety, and quality assurance standards at all times
