Bring your expertise in computed tomography to a dynamic healthcare setting where your skills will make an impact on patient diagnosis and care. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with a background in imaging, particularly as a CT Technologist.
Key Requirements:
- Certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Previous experience operating CT imaging equipment in a clinical environment
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
- Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and patient care best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while explaining processes and addressing concerns
- Adhere to all safety regulations and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to deliver timely, precise results
- Maintain equipment, track service needs, and report malfunctions as necessary
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information within electronic medical records
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions and respond to emergencies appropriately
