Ideal candidate experience and qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT)
• 1+ year recent experience in computed tomography in a clinical setting
• Proficient with CT imaging equipment, protocols, and safety procedures
• Valid state license as required
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices and infection control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform a variety of routine and advanced CT scans as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and position patients for scans, providing explanations and reassurance
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper settings and image quality
• Review images for clarity and accuracy before submitting to radiologists
• Adhere to radiation safety regulations and proper shielding practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the imaging system
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare staff to optimize patient care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

$3,354 - $3,536/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
