Key Qualifications:

• Must be highly qualified by one of these methods:
• Pass the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator exam)
• OR, have at least 60 college creditsofficial transcripts required (pictures of diplomas/degrees are not accepted)
• Completion of resume and submission of a Highly Qualified Document is mandatory for consideration
• Positive attitude, reliable communication, and passion for helping children
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams of educators and support staff
• Willingness to map out and identify your preferred school locations for assignment

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom and student support as directed by lead teachers and special education staff
• Assist in implementing individualized education plans and classroom routines
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with school staff to promote student engagement and success
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback as part of an educational team
