Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar classroom support role preferred
• Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
• Adaptability in fast-paced and ever-changing classroom settings
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students needing extra academic or behavioral support
• Provide classroom supervision to help create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
• Support students with special needs in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Help prepare teaching materials and organize learning resources
• Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings as needed
